AI Interview Assistant
The AI gives you hints during job interviews, exams, or online tests; it is indispensable for live coding.
The app stays invisible to interviewers on online calls.
The AI assistant knows answers for developers, QA engineers, analysts, and more.
It uses the ChatGPT model and other models for on-screen tasks.
Option to hide mouse movement so you won't be detected by behavioral cues.
How it works
Audio capture
During an online interview the app captures the audio stream to speakers (headphones) or from the microphone for processing.
Speech recognition
The captured audio is converted to text using a neural network.
Analysis and generation
The recognized text is analyzed and, when there is a question, sent to the LLM for an answer.
Hint output
The generated answer appears in the chat in real time. For code, a separate window with syntax highlighting opens.
Invisibility
All major services supported, including
Uses the OS API to hide the window from any screen capture software.
No matter which messenger you use during the interview — the app and AI answers stay invisible.
Hotkey tracking protection

The app blocks hotkey signals from reaching the browser (only for keys used by the app).
Task manager invisibility

Some companies ask to show or even keep the task manager open during interviews.
Hintsage can hide its process from the Windows task manager.
Off by default; must be enabled in settings.
Other protection when sharing screen
Interviewers know candidates may use invisible hint apps.
They look for telltale signs — e.g. the cursor over the editor suddenly changes from ][ to a normal cursor when the candidate moves to the hint window.
Odd or excessive mouse movements and clicks also raise suspicion.
Hintsage Hintsage lets you hide actions that could give you away. See below.
App window does not steal focus when you interact with it
No one can tell you are switching to the invisible window.
Your mouse cursor does not change over the app
Enable "Mouse cursor protection". If your editor shows a ][ cursor, it will stay that way when you move over the app window, so you stay inconspicuous.
Click by hovering (no mouse click)
For maximum stealth you can enable this mode. Interviewers won't hear clicks (some candidates have been asked what they are clicking).
Phantom window mode
In this mode the window is fully transparent to mouse moves and clicks. It stays on screen but all input passes through it. You control it only with hotkeys. Handy for live coding when you have a semi-transparent answer window in view but need to use the IDE without obstruction.
New: virtual cursor (Ctrl-R)!
To hide mouse movement while screen sharing, enable the virtual cursor.
A second, yellow cursor appears on screen. It is invisible like the main window; you control it until you turn the mode off. Your real cursor stays put so nothing looks suspicious.
Live coding with AI
or solving on-screen tasks
The app lets you:
- take a screenshot of the task and get an answer (Shot)
- select a region and solve only that part
- solve from clipboard
- solve tasks that don't fit on one screen (below the fold)
- get code review of on-screen code (including long files)
See the instructions for details.
You can choose the AI model that fits your task.
- • ChatGPT 5.x
- • Claude Sonnet 4.5
- • Gemini 3 Pro
- • others
Knowledge base

Upload your own document; the AI will use it when generating answers.
Hands-free 👐
Auto question detection lets you start the app at the beginning of the interview and stop at the end without clicking for each answer. The app detects when a question is asked and posts the answer in chat. You only need to glance at the chat when you need the answer.
Send answers to your Telegram
You can fully hide the app window (even from yourself) and have AI answers sent to your Telegram (e.g. on another device). Standard invisibility during screen share also works. You can set it so answers are sent to Telegram only when the window is hidden — use one mode for part of the interview and another for the rest.
📺 Teleprompter
Teleprompter Teleprompter mode makes it easier to read answers. After an answer is generated, a small window shows the text scrolling upward. You can read with minimal eye movement — like professional speakers reading off-camera.
🌍 Foreign language interviews
In the template you can set options for foreign-language interviews:
- Translate the question to your language
- Translate the answer to your language
- Live translation of recognized speech (on pause, on a timer, or on button press)
Voice recognition models
Multilingual (multistream)
- • English and other languages
- • Fast automatic speech recognition
- • Ideal for technical interviews and IT
- • Simple to use
Multilingual (async)
• Async: audio is recorded first, then recognized
• English, and other languages
• Ideal for technical interviews and IT
• Three modes:
• By interval: continuous recording, recognition every 10 seconds; you can press a key to recognize immediately
• Manual: you start and stop recording, then it is recognized
• By silence: recognition runs automatically during pauses
User reviews
Hello! I wanted to thank you. Your service helped me get through tough interview stages. Compared to others, yours just feels more convenient — or maybe I got used to it. Anyway, thanks — I got an offer and wanted to say so! I recommend you to everyone I know!

Other features
Silent mode
Click by hovering — no click sound
Hotkeys
Many actions available via hotkeys
Shot templates
Separate templates for shots (on-screen tasks) with instructions and expected format
Context awareness
Answers take previous messages into account. If you are asked to do something from several messages ago, the AI can still respond (if it's not too far back).
Save history
At the end of a session, chat history is saved to a folder
AI model choice
Choose between AI models (ChatGPT, Claude Sonnet, Gemini) for the best answer for each task
